When the body of an unidentified man is fished out of Oglala Lake in Pine Ridge Reservation, what first appears to be an accidental drowning turns out to be murder. Manny follows the trail to the victim's home on the Windy City Reservation in Wyoming. But he soon discovers that no one there is eager to help him solve the crime.
The investigation gets more complicated when Manny discovers his case is connected to a decades-old unsolved murder.Meanwhile, back at Pine Ridge, a Rapid City criminal's car keeps showing up at murder scenes.
